After a relaxing and long Jubilee weekend, a hardy team of Edenstone cyclists alongside friends from Acorn Recruitment find themselves this weekend facing over 200 miles of road and 1600 feet of climbing!

The 4 brave souls –  Chris Edge (Operations Director), Stuart Rodden (Financial Director), Mike Huddleston (Build Director) and Phil Bindon (Project Manager) – are putting themselves on the line in order to raise funds for mental health charity, Mind.

Starting in Holyhead on Saturday 11 June, they are scheduled to cross the finishing line in Cardiff Bay on Sunday afternoon.  They will be joined in the challenge by Osian John And Marc Jones from Acorn.

The team is well on its way to its ambitious £10,000 fundraising target and is hoping that more support will come through over the weekend to get them over the financial line.

“With what has been going on over the last few years, and the fact that mental health in our industry has always been challenging, we thought Mind was a perfect choice of charity to support, “ Chris explained.

“It’s definitely a challenge for me as the furthest I’ve cycled to date is 65 miles and so I’m expecting to look slightly less than my best next week, but it will be worth it to know that we’ve helped such an important cause.

We are really grateful to all those who have already sponsored us and would be delighted if others would follow this link  to add their support, however small or large.
