A LANDMARK 100 homes have now been built and occupied as part of Parc Ceirw Garden Village in Morriston.

The Edenstone Group is celebrating the milestone by offering to either pay the land transaction tax (also known as stamp duty) and legal fees or cover one year’s mortgage payments for 12 months (up to £12,000) on selected new homes within the development.

Parc Ceirw Garden Village was named the Insider Wales Residential Development of the Year 2021 based on the success of its initial phase, which was exclusively bungalows from the company’s Edenstone Homes brand.

Since then, the homebuilder has released further phases of properties appealing to a range of buyers, under both the Edenstone Homes and Bluebell Homes brands.

Sales director Adele McCoy said: “Parc Ceirw Garden Village has really captured buyers’ imaginations as they love the idea of being part of a new community, which will have a range of facilities designed to help them enjoy the great outdoors and a healthy lifestyle close to home.

“It’s a concept which has clearly proved popular with young and old alike, with more than 100 homes occupied and a real community emerging. To celebrate, we’re offering a special package of incentives on selected homes, with the potential to save buyers’ thousands of pounds.”

Parc Ceirw Garden Village offers an appealing range of properties from two-bedroom starter homes to spacious four-bedroom detached family properties, in addition to rare new-build bungalows.

All of the properties are priced under £750,000, making them eligible for Deposit Unlock, meaning buyers can secure a new build home in Morriston with only a 5% down payment.

Under Deposit Unlock, which was developed by the Home Builders Federation with reinsurance firm Gallagher Re, the homebuilder pays a percentage of the price of the property into an insurance policy. This reduces the risk for the mortgage lender, while giving the buyer access to more favourable rates.

It can be used by both first time buyers and buyers wishing to climb the property ladder.

Among the homes available with Deposit Unlock, plus tax and legal fees paid, is the four-bedroom semi-detached Andover style home, priced from £330,000.

It’s a cleverly designed home, offering three floors of generous living space.

The crowning glory of the Andover is the light-filled top floor bedroom, with en-suite and storage, featuring atrium-style gable windows.

At ground level it has a spacious kitchen/dining room overlooking the rear garden, with a cloakroom and formal lounge in the front of the home.

Three further bedrooms and a family bathroom are on the first floor, with the second bedroom featuring a Juliet balcony.

Parc Ceirw Garden Village will eventually feature 300 new homes alongside a host of facilities to enable residents to enjoy a healthier way of living including an equipped, circular outdoor fitness trail and a gym within a community hub.
